To celebrate the momentous release of Pterodactyl Gnus (which has new MIME support, Mule support, maildir, lots of web interfaces (Slashdot, Ultimate BB, Warchive, Hotmail, Yahoo mail, etc), and other stuff), Pterodactyl Gnus coffee/tea/chocolate/milk/whatever mugs have been lovingly created.

Mug Design

They are dark, dark blue, 80mm in diameter and 90mm high. (Or 3.2 inches in diameter and 3.5 inches in height, if one prefers non-metric.) The model is called "Stratford" (made in England), and the ink used is red or silver. The ink is below the, er, glaze, and they are dishwasher safe. (I've been using my mugs for months now, and they're holding up very well.) The design shown above wraps around the mug.

The mugs were done in two batches. The first batch used red ink. The second batch used silver metallic ink. The silver ones look really cool.

(I've got a sample (shown above; the design on there has nothing to do with the Gnus mugs, but the color and shape is the same).

They weigh 282 grams.

The mugs are available for shipping right now. If you specify Air Mail as the shipping method (and pay with Visa), it's not unlikely that you'll get the mugs before Xmas.

The price is $10.00 per mug, excluding postage. They will be packaged in polystyrene casings, and they tend to survive the postal service's tender mercies when packed in those. If they break during shipping, I send you new copies.

The mugs can be ordered from the order form.
